Notice: We have shifted again - to the Marlborough Hotel, cnr King St. and Missenden Rd., Newtown.. This is a monthly get together for a couple of drinks followed by a cheap meal somewhere close by. It is always held on the third Sunday of each month . We meet between 6:30pm and 8 pm. at the Marlborough Hotel, Newtown which is just a few blocks from the Newtown railway station, on several bus routes, and very conveniently located to all the numerous Newtown eating establishments. We locate ourselves upstairs on the first floor. Our preferred seating area is a little spot known as the "Deck Bar" which is off the end of the main bar. Look for the pool tables and the Deck Bar is just beyond those. If that space isn't available we'll be in the main bar on "Level One". If looking for us be aware that early in the evening there might only be a couple of people who have arrived. The overall number of people attending pub night can vary between 6 and 26, often depending on weather and other events. If you've not met any of us before, our table is recognisable by having a multicoloured candle on it (two examples as seen here). You may have to look carefully to see it though as we aren't always able to light it. There is food available at the Marly if you're hungry, but our preference is to wait until about 8 o'clock and then head off as a group to a nearby restaurant.

Sydney BiMen Social Gatherings

This is a group (for men) that is for the most part focused on meeting and greeting via the relatively anonymous medium of the internet. However there are a number of guys in the group who are finding that meeting face to face over a beer or dinner is far more fulfilling. Here's the opportunity to express your artistic side. This group of bisexual performance artists get together to share their creative juices and to plan "exhibitions" of the results. It might be song, poetry, play, art - anything in fact - as long as you're open to sharing it with others.

Get togethers and rehearsals happen on an ad-hoc basis depending on when the next show is planned. So the best idea is to join their email list by sending a blank message to:

NBO (Nude Bi Orgies) is a discrete group of bi guys and girls that enjoy voyeurism and discrete bi play. They respect all limits during the 3 hour romps. Always meeting in beautiful venues complemented by nibbles, drinks and videos in a safe sex atmosphere.

The group is always welcoming new players who present themselves well, and enjoy a non-judgemental atmosphere of exploratory bi play. Numbers attending are strictly regulated based upon invitations and RSVPs within the group.

They meet monthly, but alternate between Newcastle and Sydney venues.

All limits are respected, and it is a perfect atmosphere for first timers!

One of the functions of Bi-NSW is to keep some sort of coordination happening between the different Bi groups that we have around Sydney. To this end we have a "Planning Group" that meets every two months to make decisions about what the general Bi community should be doing to help raise awareness in the community of our existence and needs.

Anybody that is interested in promoting our cause is welcome to come along to the meetings. Dates for 2007 meetings are:
18th January, 15th March, 17th May, 12th July, 13th September, 15th November.

Under current NSW legislation it is not illegal to discriminate against somebody because they are bisexual.

The ADB holds several consultation meetings per year with representatives from the queer community. Bi-NSW tries to have a representative present at each meeting so that we aren't forgotten!
